Suddenly get wild try to hit me kill me, dreaming same all girls like one girl jumped in the well and hanging, before suicide ate wadapav, hunger spirit ate food what I cook, and…
The book opens up with the protagonist sharing her experience with spirits and ghosts during her stay in a hostel. And further it moves on how the spirits communicated with her and also how the protagonist befriended her. Also the book concludes only after the spirits are released from their spiritual life.
The author shall be applauded for her debut work but the book doesn’t match our expectations. The words were simple and so the reading was comfy. But the sentence formations were really poor. The book is divided into several small chapters that helps to maintain coherence of the book. Also the book gives us a different perspective to visualise spirits that the spirits are not always evil but also they have some good heart deep within. The narration also fails because of the lack of proper words and sentences and owing to this negatives, the book was unable to deliver the horror factor which it aimed to. The plot and the story was good enough to be a page turner but the author should have concerned about the presentation of the book.
My view :
A good try by the debut author but could have done better. More importance should be given to the narration, editing and proofreading.
