Blurb :

“Of course you know about the seven stages of love, but have you ever lived them?” Atharva Rathod and Meher Qasim. Lovebirds since adolescence. Bonded by love, separated by circumstances. They part ways only to meet again. But this time, he is on a secret mission… Are they in control of their own destiny, or its their destiny which is making them dance to its tunes? Only time would answer, as Atharva and Meher unwillingly and unknowingly transcend the seven stages of love. A quintessential tale of love and romance marked beautifully by its own rustic old school charm.

Cover :

The cover page always inspires the readers towards grabbing the book and this book has proved it. The book cover is very well designed with a royal blue rose which plays an important role in the story.
Review :

The book is very well knotted with the plot of romance and mystery. The book can be divided into three plots – 1. the school story where the protagonists Atharva and Meher, falls in love with each other but ends up their relationship abruptly blaming the situation. 2. Destiny binds them again after a huge time gap at Munich, Germany, where they both had already started their life in their own way but also their relationship ends up again with some heartbreaks and a mystery. 3. Sparks of old age starts emerging from both when they again meet up in Boston but are they destined to be together now?? And the book moves towards quenching the answer to this question.

Though the genre is usual romance, the author has served it in a unique way with twists and turns and also hidden mysteries. The word UNNS seems uncommon but the author has explained the reason for the name in the flow of the book. The author recieves a huge applause for beautifully explaining the seven stages of love. The book is an immediate page turner and can also be completed in a single go as we start living the life of those characters. The use of simple and lucid language comforts our reading. Only the starting 20-25 pages were a little bore, as they invoked a thought that the book will be full of the school love story. But the author proved it wrong in the upcoming pages and impressed the readers with his words and narration. The unexpected events and twists hooks us up with the book to find the end of the story. The investigation part of the story is an interesting read as we become a part of the officers investigating it. The little story of Matthias Steiner deeply explains the meaning of love and trust. Every character is explained with utmost care and the author also explained the meaning of true love. One of the best books to be suggested to debut readers. This book also delivers a message that

 1. No matter what, true love cannot be forgotten even at the verge of death.

2. Blindly trusting a person will prove you blind at the end.

My view on the book :

What if you meet the love of your life again and again even after numerous heartbreaks? Is it the play of destiny or the play of a person behind?

Can you build up trust on a person who cheats you again and again?

Find your answers amidst the well constructed words of this book.

One day he reaches a stage where he doesn’t know if he will be able to live or not. Can the world be a single country? Will they be able to take this mission from a closed room to a goal post? What circumstances are they going to face? How will their journey be?

Review :

The one unimaginable and impossible mission iss now imaginable after Alchem’s inspiring and motivating words. The title of the book well suits the content. This directed road should be travelled by us to pull out more hidden adventures in the world. This is not just an another book but it is the future of the following world. One must never skip to read this piece of  work. Really a thought provoking and action provoking novel. The man at the beginning might have avoided the unknown call but his inquisitiveness made him to move further. The same inquisitiveness had made the second man to attend next meeting by which he shinned later. ‘One must try new risk’ was well emphasized and the inquisitiveness in the man leads him to reach great heights. The person who was in his safer position will never learn anything new. The three people along with their boss in this book took risk to pave something new and this is what the author says in his book. The author also insists us to travel in the path which was less traveled. The author uses lucid language and comforts our reading. The cover could have been more attractive. The events taking place in the book are immediate page turners and helps us to hook up with the book till the end. One of the necessary book to read in this generation. Great work. This book is unique in its own way.

This is a story that falls through the crevices of pitiless anonymity, yet miraculously waits to be told.

Shiju, like millions of other Malayalis, seeks his destiny in Dubai, that gleaming global hub of fortune on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf. What unfolds is a stirring story of distilled hardship, exploitation, identity, and friendship, and the heartbreaking choices Shiju is often forced to make. Shiju’s life is no more the same. But he holds his ground, drawing on ancient instincts of his seafaring ancestry. As things settle down around him, he is inexorably pulled into the canyon of recession… Will Shiju be able to hold on to his dreams? Will he able to pull out himself from the whirlpool? Will he survive against all odds? Will he redeem himself? Nikhil Ramteke unfolds an extraordinary saga about Indian expatriates, their struggles, their alienation, and their dreams. The 365 Days is more than a story of a year in Shijukutty’s life

Review :

But only then he realised that his dreamland is always a dream as he was forced into the reality of Dubai. Sameer decides to tackle the wild and old beast of Reservation by its horn and jumps into the socio-political arena. Will Sameer march with 50 lakh Indians into the parliament to get what he always wanted? Will Sameer become the revolutionary that his brother always dreamed about? To find the answers, read Brother’s Revenge. Manoj Puthran is an Indian writer. This is his second book after ‘1983 Love Story’ which was published last year.

Review :

The book opens up with the description of the lifestyle of the strangers who were brought together and tied up in a relationship called brothers. Tushar and Sameer were of different genre as one loved Science and the another worked with a revolution visionary. But they loved each other more than real brothers can. And the story is built on how the need of English language and the reservation in the society changed their life upside down. Amidst the uprising love for romance and thriller genre books, the author recieves a special applause as he decided to write about the burden which every Indians face now-a-days. The authors use of words comforts our reading and the speedy storyline helps to complete the book in a single go. This book not only talks about the distress in the society but also it covers the plots of love, parental care, needs and responsibilities. Every words are written with utmost care and the potrayal of every characters are unique in its own way. The starting 30 pages could have been better as they just stop as mere narration. But the story speeds up after the departure of Tushar to Mumbai. The author’s creative thoughts has flown in the pages narrating the achievements of Tushar. Life jackets for bike riders is a unique thought of the author and be proves his high level of creativity. The book also says that once we get diverted from the right path, we can never get its track again. The whole hard work of the author is proved in the pages covering the conversation between the Brahmin young man and scheduled caste old man. Those pages carry all our answers regarding reservation in India. No one can narrate that scene better than the author Manoj sir. This book provides us a clear cut insight on the issue of the reservation and the need of English language. Thanks for this wonderful book sir.

My view on the book :

What if your success in academics end up futile just because of a term called reservation??

What if your world ( beloved person ) lost his life just because of the good he wished to do??

What if you become the single lower to whom every person bows his head??

What if you are rejected everywhere just because of your poor performance in unwanted language inspite of your overflowing brain in the required field?

What you’ll decide when you are burdened by both the present and the past??

Get your answers at the pages of this book.

This book is worth the penny you spend. It has the capability to inject revolution into your blood.

Review of PANORAMA by Shilpi Chaklanobis

Title : Panorama – A collection of short stories

Author : Shilpi Chaklanobis

Genre : Short story collection on relationships

No. Of pages : 134

Cost : Rs 150

Blurb :

Woven around the lives of the people around us – the shy girl on the metro, your domestic help, your neighbors and perhaps even you – this collection of short stories will take you on a bittersweet journey that explores the spectrum that is part of any human relationship and all the complexity and chaos that secretly dwell within the homes and hearts of India.
Often laced with an element of introspection, the stories are sure to change the way you see the world around you…

About the book :

This book is a collection of 15 short stories which are penned down to teach the meaning of every relationship.

Review :

Every stories are unique in its own way. The authors way of story telling attracts the readers and hooks us up with the book. Some stories brought out tears and some stories gave an indefinable relief to the struggling heart. The simple language used by the author comforts our reading and helps to finish the book in single go. The author has picturised every character and relationships with utmost care and that’s where the author earns her credit points. Boredom stood faraway from the book. The author has served the book with correct proportion of parental love, love of a child, brother love, trust, belief and etc which makes the book, a great success.

The story which is still close to my heart is The Thirst. The way the author portrays the love of a daughter towards her mother even though she knows that her mom is ready to kill her, recieves huge applause as the climax page was drenched with my tears.

The next story is Bribe. It strongly speaks that no one can overtake the love of a mom. Though your dad takes care of your all needs, none can love you more than your mom. A strong message was passed through a sweet story.

Third one is Mirage. It’s the story about a girl who continued to live her life with a misunderstanding that her mom was the only reason behind her dad’s departure, unmindful of the real side of the story. The plot is written upon how she handles the situation and starts loving her mom after realising the hard truth.

And the other stories were also very well woven to provide a complete book about the importance of every relationships.

My view on the book :

This book can teach you the values of relationships in this virtual world. You might also find new definitions for certain relationships. This book is worth the time you spend.

Suggestions :

The font size could have been better to comfort reading. The translations of the Hindi paragraphs could have been given in the consequent paragraphs as it is tedious for the readers who doesn’t know Hindi. But the continuous flow of mysteries in the book overcomes such issues.

In the land of Gods, the arrival of a vigilante stormed the silence. He was brutally used and harassed by Gods. His emotions and sentiments were toyed with. The most powerful god, Agusthus, feels crippled before him. He targets everyone responsible for his state. He drains Agusthus by slaughtering his son. He exhausts Moira, daughter of Agusthus, by killing her brother before her eyes. He breaks Castle Gray, the only one capable of stopping him, by cursing his love into a cold bloodless stone. He weakens the powerful Queen Iris, Gray’s mother, and enslaves her husband. He certainly has no opponent. However, no one targets him. He is so silent and precise that no one buys the fact that the vigilante, who was cursed and killed long ago, is somehow back. Hence, the time waits for the birth of the last hope left to save the world from the wrath of the demon. Time waits for ‘Martin Krooger.’

Cover page :

The light shades of blue and pink adds essence to the cover page. The restless waves and clouds along with a creature personifying evilness guides us know the hidden story inside the book.

Review :

The author recieves a great applause for opting the genre of fantasy fiction in the world of romance lovers. The author’s words helps us to create the magical world in front of our naked eyes. He keeps us submerged in the story till it ends. The little poems at the start of every chapters adds more pleasure in reading the book. Utmost care is taken in designing every characters and also the places. The creative thinking of the author yields a great value as the story keeps us hooked up with it till the end. The book has twists and turns which makes the read interesting. Every events is portrayed well with much attention which makes us live in those places and experience the life of them.

The short story about the origin of the name of the city “Aitos”, holds good moral values with few life lessons to teach. The quote which inspired me is, There is no concept of more successful or less successful. Success itself is complete, satisfaction itself is absolute. The book explains a good lesson that no matter who you are, you want to pay for your every deeds. The story is mainly built upon the concrete of the story of Adam and Eve. The pendulums, raining letters all witnesses the creative power of the author.

My view on the book :

I almost entered into the world created by the author and submerged in the book till the end. But at times, I was confused with the names of the characters and later it was swiped away once the story engulfed me. The chapter which is close to my heart is the one in which Adam says his life events as a poem ( Chapter 17 ) . I re-read that poem numerous times.

What if one day you find out that the world you are living in is just a play ground and the players from the other world are playing with your life and emotions but you can do nothing except being their puppet?

Find your answers in the mystery filled fanatasy book The orgin of Martin Krooger.
